  • Launch program
  • Choice of fiducials.
  • Save data

Launch program _

1. Launch MATLAB and add path(mri_toolbox).

   
   

2. Input "avw_view" and push "Enter" button.

   
   

3. In the appearing dialog, select a MRI header file and click "Open" button.

   
   
   
   The MRI image will be displayed in about ten seconds.
   
   
   
   

Choice of fiducials. _

Click fiducial point and memorize coordinate value.

• Nasion

  
  

  1. In Sagittal view, click nasion.

     
     
     
     

  2. Use the cursor(left or right), seeing Coronal View.

     Search the position where the part that seems to be Nasion has blackened.
     

     And, when it moves in the direction of Posterior little by little, and the skin is seen, click the point.
     
     　
     
     

  3. Click "Nasion" button.

     Coordinate value is displayed on the right.

     
     
     
     

• LPA(Left PreAuricular point)

  
  

  1. Click the point seemed LPA on Axial View.

     note: +X is right.

     
     
     
     

  2. Use the cursor keys(left and right) seeing Sagittal View.

     And then, click the preauricular point(small round bone).
     
     
     
     

  3. Click "LPA" button.

     Coordinate value is displayed on the right.
     
     
     
     

• RPA(Right PreAuricular point)

  
  

  1. Click the point seemed RPA on Axial View.

     note: +X is right.

     
     
     
     

  2. Use the cursor keys(left and right) seeing Sagittal View.

     And then, click the preauricular point(small round bone).
     
     
     
     

  3. Click "RPA" button.

     Coordinate value is displayed on the right.
     
     
     
     

Save data _

When the choice of fiducials finished, save the data.

1. Click "Save fiducials" button.

   
   
   
   

2. In the appearing dialog, input filename and click "Save" button.
