Brain network dynamics estimation

Recent advancement diffusion-weighting MRI (dMRI) allows for visualizing structural connectivity of human brain in vivo. By combining structural connectivity of dMRI with brain activities measured with MEG and fMRI, we have developed a method to visualize network dynamics during a behavioral task in millisecond resolution. The below is an example of information transmission on the brain structural network during face picture viewing task. Blue lines in the video are the structural connectivity obtained from dMRI and white pulses are information transmissions one node communicates with other nodes which are estimated from MEG and fMRI.
