Innovative brain dynamics imaging using whole-brain network model

Summary

We are developing an innovative method to visualize brain dynamics using a whole-brain network model. This method reveals whole-brain activities, including such deep regions as the hippocampus, with high spatial and temporal resolutions.

Our goals are to trigger a paradigm shift in human brain imaging studies, provide innovative diagnostic and therapeutic technologies for neurological and psychiatric diseases, and further develop brain-machine interface (BMI) technologies.

Research agenda: Non-invasive and safe, Convenient measurement device, Whole-brain activity including deep regions, Millisecond time resolution, Spatial resolution at the level of cutting-edge cortical parcellation etc.
