Welcom to the DCN

Department of Cognitive Neuroscience

Our goal is to elucidate the mechanisms of cognition and learning that support human intelligence and adaptability by combining computational theory, psychophysical experiments, and neural activity measurement.

Based on the principles of the brain obtained through these studies, we aim to develop interfaces that complement our brain functions, demonstrate the effects of training, propose new ways for humans and machines to interact, and aim to create a society in which everyone can live vigorously.

   ・・・Research Topics・・・
   ・Interaction between cognition and action
   ・Modality-independent learning mechanisms
・Embodied BMI to induce a sense of self-agency
