Tomohiro Shibata was born in Fukuoka, Japan, in 1969. He received the B.E.
degree from the University of Tokyo in 1991, the M.E. degree in 1993 and
a Ph.D in Information Engineering from the University of Tokyo in 1996.
From 1996 and 1997, he was a post doctoral fellow at the University of
Tokyo. From 1997 to Sept. 2001, he was a senior researcher of
Kawato Dynamic Brain Project,
ERATO,JST. Currently he is a senior researcher of Metalearning, Neuromodulation and Emotion, CREST, JST
conducted by Dr. Doya, since Oct. in 2001.
